What Does MTO-Approved Driver Ed Mean?
An MTO-approved program is a course that has been officially certified by the Ontario government. These courses are carefully designed to give new drivers the essential knowledge and skills they need to stay safe.
When you successfully complete a certified program, you unlock several major benefits:
- Get your G2 test 4 months earlier: Instead of waiting 12 months, graduates can book their G2 road test in just 8 months.
- Lower car insurance rates: Many insurance companies offer significant discounts to drivers who hold an MTO-approved certificate.
- Complete preparation: You get a mix of classroom theory and real in-car training, so you are ready for anything.
What You Will Learn in the Course
Our structured program is broken down into easy-to-manage steps:
Online or In-Class Lessons
You will complete 20 hours of structured learning. This covers defensive driving, rules of the road, and smart strategies for handling different weather and traffic conditions.
In-Car Driving Lessons
You get a minimum of 10 hours of one-on-one training with a professional instructor. This is where you gain real-world experience navigating Ottawa’s busy streets, intersections, and highways.
Flexible Scheduling
We know life gets busy. Lessons can be customized to fit your schedule, making it convenient for high school students, working professionals, and newcomers.
Road Test Preparation
We also offer road test car rental services. This ensures you can practice and take your actual G2 or G test in a reliable, familiar vehicle that you already know how to handle.
